Yesterday Microsoft released the final release version of Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP x86, x64 and Windows Server 2003 x86, iax64, x64.
You can download it at:

Overall I’ve been very please with IE7. I’ve been using IE7 since the first Beta release.

There are some things that you need to be aware of a few things. If you are using any additional toolbars or plug-ins to IE such as Google Toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com), You will need to update them to the latest version. I have also noticed that Java Run-time (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp)Â may also need to be updated.
Keep in mind that you CAN un-install from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel if you decide you don’t want it.
Been wondering about an easy way to get the pictures (pics)Â and/or videos (vids)Â of of your phone?
Well, I have.
Today, while listening to the ‘Inside the Net’ Netcast (http://www.twit.tv/ITN) episode #37(http://www.twit.tv/itn37) I learned about a really cool FREE service that will do this. The name of it is Nakama. (www.nakama.ca)Â Nakama is a free service that allows you to automatically post the pics and vids from your cell to a free account that you create with them. They also give you the ability to have the pictures posted directly to many different blog providers or embed it as a live feed to your myspace (www.myspace.com) account.
I tried it out today. In less than 5 minutes I was signed up, sent a picture from my phone, and setup the embedded link on my myspace account. It works great. When you setup an account with them they give you an email address to send your pictures to. They recommend that you save it in your address book so you don’t have to retype it every time.
Now, one thing I definitely don’t like is that you can’t setup your account in a ‘private’ mode. When you send a picture to your account, it shows up on the main page in a section called “Most Recent Photos and Videos”. There are 2 other sections “Most Active Photos and Videos” and “Most Popular Photos and Videos”. At the time of this post, you can definitely tell that a majority of the people that visit the site are guys. There are a few inappropriate pictures that are on the second 2 sections.
Overall I think it’s a pretty cool idea. Finally get a little more use out of the features in my phone.

This is a talk I ran across today regarding Theology and Technology from an LDS (http://www.mormon.org) perspective.
http://speeches.byu.edu/?act=viewitem&id=261&tid=7
This was given by Thomas L Erekson the current faculty advisor of the BYU (http://www.byu.edu) Electric Car Racing Team (http://www.et.byu.edu/news_electric_record.htm).
There are several formats available, I downloaded and listened to the free MP3.
(Side Note: He has the same last name, with the same spelling, as my wife Abigail. Not sure how/if they are related, but his last name is what lead me to the speech while browsing the http://speeches.byu.edu site.)
